Robert J. Newell, 60, of 613 Park Ave. died of cancer Monday at Plaza Nursing Home.
A native of Camillus, Mr. Newell was a life resident of Syracuse. He was a former shipping and receiving clerk with Consolidated Industries. He was an Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; a son, Robert G. of Chatsworth, Calif.; a brother, Herbert of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at noon Wednesday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Camillus, the Rev. Carol A. Moyer officiating. Spring burial will be in Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home, 10 Genesee St.

Robert married Hulda Marie "Marie" Wilcox, daughter of Glenwood William Wilcox and Evelyn Mary "Love" Pooler, on 16 Oct 1962 in Woodland, Aroostook, Maine, United States.
