NORTHBOROUGH Matthew T. Holly, 35, of Northborough, died Saturday January 7, 2006 peacefully in his sleep.
He leaves his beloved daughter, Lynn A. Holly; his former wife, Sherri S. (Scovil) Holly; his mother and step-father, Mary E. and Albert A. Jacques all of Northborough; his father, Thomas W. Holly of Worcester; a sister, Tara K. Nevins and her husband, Keith, of N. Grafton; his godmother, Paula J. Donahue of Worcester; two nephews, John V. Nelson and Nicholas T. Nevins of N. Grafton; his aunt and uncle, Penny and Dave McCaffrey of Northborough and many cousins. He was the beloved grandson of the late Faustina Holly-Lareau who died in 2005. He was born in Worcester and attended Algonquin Regional High School. He graduated from Clark University CCI Program in 2000.
Matt was employed by the Town of Northborough for 13 years. He also worked for several area restaurants as a bartender.
He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, who also enjoyed cooking golfing, and traveling.
The one thing that Matt cherished the most in his life was his beautiful daughter, Lynny, who he loved more than life itself.
The funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday January 12th in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street (Rte. 20). Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday January 11th in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
