Patricia A. Raven, 80, passed away peacefully Dec. 31, 2013 at a Pittsfield nursing home with her long time companion by her side. She was born Feb. 2, 1933 in Amesbury, Mass., a daughter of Osborn and Vira Wilcox. Patricia grew up in Calais where she worked in area sardine factories. She later became a licensed practical nurse. After marrying and moving to Troy, where she lived for many years, she did waitressing work in Unity, and also worked as a clerk at Unity Pharmacy. She was a member of the Troy Ladies Firemans Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter Kelli Emery and boyfriend Jon Beckett; granddaughter Tanya Braley and husband Michael, and great grandson Eric, all of Knox; and her long time companion Albert Smith of Pittsfield.
The family woud like to thank Dr. Charles Kriegel for his excellent care. Pat thought a lot of him. The family also thanks Sebasticook Valley Hospital, Pittsfield Rehab and Nursing Center and Hospice of Eastern Maine for their care over the past several months.
There will be no services at this time. Spring burial will be in Pond Cemetery, Unity. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.

Patricia married Earlwin Clayton Raven, son of Perley William Ravin and Mildred Naomi Davis, on 15 Aug 1978 in ME.¹ (Earlwin Clayton Raven was born on 28 Aug 1927 in Northport, ME,² died on 10 Sep 1984 in Chelsea, ME ³ and was buried in Pond Cemetery, Unity, ME.)
