Bucksport - Kathleen H. Noyes, 78, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at a Bangor hospital. She was born on December 26, 1942, in Brooks, Maine. She was the daughter of Stanley and Virginia (Ward) Lanphier. Kathy enjoyed going to "Jams" to listen to country music. She enjoyed traveling and collecting anything with butterflies.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Noyes; one son, Jeffrey Hall and wife, April; grandchildren: Raven Lapoint, Jeffrey Hall Jr. and wife, Megan, Dylan Hall and wife, Megan, Melanie Hall, Zackery Hall, Dustin Hall, Caitlin Hall; and eight great-grandchildren; her siblings, Donna Hathaway, Connie Shaw, Stanley Lanphier Jr., Tim Lanphier, Karen Robertson, Ricky Lanphier; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her first husband, Willard H. Hall; one son, David Hall; one great-granddaughter, Elena Hall; sister, Gail Gilmore; and sister, Lucy Seekins.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Interment will be held in the spring.
In keeping with CDC guidelines, masks will be required for the visitation and funeral service. mitchelltweedie-young.com

SEARSPORT -- Miss Kathleen Hilda Lanphier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lanphier Sr. of Mt. Ephraim Road, Searsport, and Willard H. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall of Orland, exchanged wedding vows at the First Congregational Church here Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Robert F. Stevens, pastor of the church, officiated at the double ring ceremony with only the immediate family attending.
Mrs. C. G. Carley, church organist, played wedding marches and incidental music for the candlelight service.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a ballerina length gown of nylon and lace over taffeta, styled with fitted lace bodice with sabrina neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. The full skirt was accented with a lace panel in front partially covered with wide pleats, and a large satin bow at the waistline in back. Her veil of bridal illusion was attached to a crown of seed pearls and sequins and she carried a colonial bouquet.
Miss Gail Lanphier was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a pink street length dress of nylon over taffeta and carried a colonial bouquet of roses.
Richard Hall of Orland, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
The bride attended Searsport High School and is employed at Maplewood Poultry Company at Belfast.
The bridegroom graduated from Bucksport High School and is employed at the Belfast Shoe Company.
Mr. and Mrs. Hall left on a trip by automobile following the reception. For traveling the bride wore a beige ensemble complemented with white accessories.
They will reside at Searsport.
The reception was held at the North Searsport Grange Hall where pink and white streamers and wedding bells were used for decorations.
The guest book was circulated by Miss Cora Dean Ward of Searsport, cousin of the bride. Mrs. Irene Cook of Searsport cut and served the wedding cake after the traditional first slice had been cut by the bride and bridegroom.
Elliot Ward, uncle of the bride, and Miss Beverly Ward, cousin of the bride, presided at the punch bowl.
Mrs. Frances Day of Belfast and Mrs. Donna Hathaway, sister of the bride, Mrs. Clarice Golnac of Bucksport, cousin of the bridegroom, presided at the gift table.
Others assiting in serving were Mrs. Mae Tripp of Searsport and Mrs. Lorraine Robbins, cousins of the bride.
