ORLAND - Peggy Jean Dorr, 30, died suddenly in Bucksport May 26, 1977. She was born in Orland Oct. 8. 1946, the daughter of Grover and Pauline Gray Dorr. She is survived by her mother and father, Orland; three children, James G. Dorr, Trisha Lee Merry, Jessica J. Dorr, all of Orland; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Clifton Gray, Orland; two brothers, Robert, Bucksport and Allan, Hermon; five sisters, Linda Penney, Orland. Beth Kennedy, Hermon, Melody Freilino, Surry, Ellen Dorr, Orland, Patricia Overlock, Hermon. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, Bucksport, with the Rev. Charles T. Brown officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations in her memory to the Baxter State School for the Deaf, Portland. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime today.
