STOCKHOLM and BANGOR -- Robert L. Holmes, 42, died unexpectedly, April 9, 2002, at Bangor. He was born at Caribou, Sept. 12, 1959, the son of Gerald and Charlotte (Beckwith) Holmes Sr. Robert was a graduate of Caribou High School and was a carpenter in the Bangor area.
Surviving in addition to his parents, Gerald and Charlotte of Madawaska Lake; are three brothers Gerald Holmes Jr. of Bangor, Joseph Holmes of Goldhill, Ore. and Randy Holmes of McEwen, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Tim (Nadine) Doody of Woodland; one niece, two nephews, several aunts and uncles; and a special friend, Sherrie McClure of Bangor.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2002, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rennie Tichnor, pastor of the Caribou Assembly of God Church, officiating.
