EDWARD F. FITZGERALD
Edward F. Fitzgerald, 76, of 46 High St., Auburn, died unexpectedly at his home yesterday morning.
He was born in Lewiston February 13, 1880, the son of Daniel and Celinda Stebbins Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald was educated in Lewiston schools and had always lived in Lewiston-Auburn. His wife, Aimee N. Goodhue, died last August. He had been a shoeworker all his life and was last employed at the Lumbard-Watson factory. He retired last year.
Several cousins survive, among them, Mrs. John Dufour of Auburn.
DIED
In Auburn, May 1, 1956, Edward F. Fitzgerald, age 76. Funeral services from the Memorial Chapelf Dillingham & Son, Thursday, May 3 at 2 p.m. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Auburn. Friends unable to attend the services may call at the Chapel Wednesday 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday morning.

Edward married Aimee Nora Goodhue, daughter of William Henry Goodhue and Mary Ann Raven, on 27 Nov 1901 in Auburn, Androscoggin, Maine, United States. (Aimee Nora Goodhue was born on 8 Sep 1879 in Castle Hill, Aroostook, Maine, United States, died on 17 Aug 1955 in Auburn, Androscoggin, Maine, United States and was buried on 20 Aug 1955 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Auburn, Androscoggin, Maine, United States.). The cause of her death was aneurysm of aorta.
