Sudbury Youth, 17, Arraigned in Fatal Ashland Collision
Ashland, June 15 -- An Ashland man was thrown to the street and killed at 2 a.m. today when a beach wagon and his light pick-up truck collided at the corner of Beacon st. and Cochituate rd., Framingham.
Woodrow W. Willard, 39, of 318 Cordaville rd., was pronounced dead on arrival at Framingham Union Hospital. Police said the driver of the beach wagon, who was uninjured, was John A. Kennally was arraigned this morning in Framingham District Court before Judge Lewis W. Farley on charges of manslaughter, negligent driving, and speeding. He pleaded not guilty and the case was continued until June 21. He was released on $1100 bail.
A plater for Raytheon, Willard was on his way home from work when killed. He leaves a wife; an 8-year old son, Woodrow W.
