Mrs. Etta S. Willard, 73, a native of Helena, died Aug. 25th in the Brockway Convalescent home in Moira. She had been in failing health for some time.
The funeral was held Monday, August 27th, at the Donaldson funeral home, Massena, with burial in Helena.
Mrs. Willard is survived by a brother, William I. Johnstone, Helena; a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Beryle) Hyde, Moira; three step daughters, Mrs. Chester (Evelyn) Anderson, Port Henry, Mrs. Roy (Alberta) Gravelle, Moriah, Mrs. Gus (Ethel) Edmonds, Keene Valley.
Mrs. Willard was born in Helena, May 8, 1889, a daughter of William H. and Georgia Denio Johnstone. She attended schools in Helena and Moira and Brushton Training class and taught in Santa Clara and Moriah before her marriage to the late Sam Willard in 1927.
