Herman F. Robbins of Belfast, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robbins of this City, and Miss Ruth H. Merry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Merry Sr. of Belfast, were married Saturday evening, September 23, at 7:30 o'clock at the Methodist parsonage, the Rev. J. Clarke Collind officiating in the double ring service.
They were attended by Miss Mildred Merry, sister of the bride, and Lloyd Sylvester.
The bride was attired in a light gray suit and wore a corsage of white gladioli, while Miss Merry wore a dark gray suit with a corsage of yellow glads.
The newly wedded couple left on a short trip after the ceremony, and are now at home at 23 Cedar Street.
The bride attended Crosby High School and has been employed at the Belfast Shoe Company factory.
