OMAR L. WOODBURY
WALDO, Oct. 17 - Omar L. Woodbury, 49, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening. Born at Knox August 22, 1908, he was the son of the late Orrin B. and Ida (Spear) Woodbury.
He was a member of Morning Light Grange of Monroe and Archon Lodge of Masons of Dixmont.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Woodbury; a son, Leon Woodbury of Belfast; a niece; three nephews; two aunts, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Brazier funeral home, Brooks, with the Rev. Charles Quine of Belfast officiating.
Interment will be in Pilgrim's Home cemetery, Monroe.

BELFAST, Oct. 23 -- Funeral services for Omar L. Woodbury, 49, formerly of Waldo, where held at the Brazier Funeral Home in Brooks Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Charles Quine officiating.
Mr. Woodbury died Wednesday of a heart attack at Prospect.
He was formerly the owner of a store at Monroe and later operated a grocery store at Belfast, giving up the work a few years ago because of ill health. He had also operated a chicken farm at Monroe.
He had been engaged as a magazine subscription salesman since retiring from the grocery business.
Interment was in Pilgrim Home Cemetery at Monroe.

Omar married Hazel Faye Raven, daughter of John Edward Raven and Rose Ann Farley, on 24 Jan 1928 in Brooks, Waldo, Maine, United States.
