Phyllis (Bachelder) Littlefield French, 66, died Jan. 27, 1999, in Zephyrhills, Fla. She was born in Belfast, May 17, 1932, the daughter of John and Gladys (Whitten) Bachelder.
She attended schools in Bangor, Newport and Belfast. She was a member of the Appleton Historical Society. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and going dancing. She will be particularly remembered for all of her "special moments" with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a very dear friend, Max Wendland of Zephyrhills; a son, Mitchell and Bonita Littlefield of Waldo, a daughter, Deborah and Steve Bird of Fort Fairfield; four sisters, Ruth Harper of Orono, Maxine Nickerson of Belfast, Bea Flood of Belfast and Shirley Fifield of Rumford; five grandchildren, Cara and Seth Bird, both of Fort Fairfield, Jaime Lynn and Henry Littlefield, both of Belfast and Bryant Richardson of Waldo; many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at the Rackliffe Funeral Home, 54 Church St., Belfast, 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, with the Rev. Charles Erb officiating. Spring interment will be at Grove Cemetery, Belfast.

Belfast Couple Wed In Baptist Parsonage
BELFAST, Dec. 13--Miss Phyllis Bachelder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bachelder of this city, was married to Warren F. Littlefield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Littlefield of Pitcher road, Belfast, in the Baptist parsonage recently by Rev. W. S. Stackhouse. The single ring ceremony was used, and attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Littlefield, the former being a brother of the bridegroom. The bride wore a dark blue suit with gold accessories. Both bride and bridegroom attended Belfast schools, and he is now working for the Berry Bros. of Morrill. They will live with his parents for the present.
