Mary Mitchell, 49, of Liberty and Madison, S.D., was killed in an automobile accident Oct. 05, 2010, in Trent, S.D.
She was born Oct. 11, 1961, and grew up in the Unity and Thorndike area.
She was predeceased by her mother, Nancy Mitchell; and a daughter, Jennifer Carson.
Mary's daughter, Heather Erie Perkins, was with Mary at the time of her death, and was also killed in the crash.
She is survived by her father and stepmother, Lloyd and Wilberta Mitchell, of Liberty; a son, Joshua Erie, and his family of Augusta; a brother, Stanley Mitchell, of St. Cloud, Minn.; two sisters, Peggy Fredrich and family of Madison, S.D., and Jeanne Burger and family of New York; four stepbrothers, Dale Crawford and his family of Albion, Randy Crawford and his family of Albion, Richard Crawford of Fairfield, Scott Crawford and his family of Palermo; a grandson, Michael Perkins, of Augusta; granddaughters, Sara and Moriah Dyer of Brooks; and several aunts and uncles.
Arrangements are with Skroch Funeral Home in Flandreau, S.D. Graveside services will be at a later date.
