Mrs. Kroening, age 91, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Bay Medical Care Facility. She was born in Gladwin, Michigan on December 29, 1912 to the late Richard and Ida (Snay) Cann. Adele was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving family include three sons: Conrad, Richard and Roger Kroening; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Adele was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lee R. Kroening and Burleigh Raven; and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral and committal services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. Pastor Douglas W. Stratton officiating. Private burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation hours at the funeral home will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Penzien - Steele Funeral Home 608 N. Madison Avenue Bay City, Michigan.
