Mrs. Kroening, age 91, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Bay Medical Care Facility. She was born in Gladwin, Michigan on December 29, 1912 to the late Richard and Ida (Snay) Cann. Adele was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Surviving family include three sons: Conrad, Richard and Roger Kroening; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Adele was preceded in death by her two husbands, Lee R. Kroening and Burleigh Raven; and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral and committal services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. Pastor Douglas W. Stratton officiating. Adele married Burleigh Erwin Raven Sr., son of Ernest Edward Raven and Ellura Belle Larrabee, in Mar 1984. (Burleigh Erwin Raven Sr. was born on 12 Apr 1918 in Knox, Waldo, Maine, United States, died on 27 Mar 1991 in Bradenton, Manatee, Florida, United States and was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Freedom, Waldo, Maine, United States.)
