OXBOW -- Henderson Earle, 73, died Jan. 15 at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born at St. Leonard, N.B., Oct. 7, 1901, the son of William and Elmina Henderson Earle. He was a member of the Oxbow Congregational Church. Surviving are: his wife, Madeline Whipple Earle, Oxbow; a son, Robert of Presque Isle; a brother, Frasier of Washburn; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Stimson Funeral Home, Ashland, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral at 3 p.m. The Rev. Donald Osborn of the Oxbow Congregational Church will officiate at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in the Oxbow Cemetery. Henderson married Madeline Florence Whipple, daughter of William Roscoe Whipple and Hattie Eliza Carson, on 29 Sep 1934 in ME.1 (Madeline Florence Whipple was born on 28 Jul 1913 in Dixmont, ME,8 9 died on 14 Oct 2003 in Presque Isle, ME and was buried on 16 Oct 2003 in Oxbow, ME.)
