HANCOCK - Natalie B. (Jellison) Carson, 95, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth. She was born Feb. 2, 1917, in Concord, N.H., the daughter of Charles H. and Kay M. (Braithwaite) Jellison.
Natalie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Raymond G. Carson and wife, Joyce, of Troy; one daughter, Linda L. Tracy and husband, Earl, of Hancock; grandchildren, Scott Tracy and wife, Lori, Sarah Kenney and husband, Phil, Travis Carson, Tina Nichols and husband, Shannon, and Betty Tracy; and great-grandchildren, Connor Kenney, Mason Kenney and Jessica Tracy. She is also survived by one sister, Marjory Crane of Bangor; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Ansel G. Carson, in 1998; one sister, Mary Morrison; and two brothers, Charles Jellison and Edmund Jellison.
Family and friends will gather for visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, with the Rev. Elizabeth Sullivan officiating. Burial will be held at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth, after the service. Memorial contributions in Natalie's memory may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, care of Anah Temple Shrine, P.O. Box 735, Bangor, ME 04402.
