 KNOX -- Omar W. Bryant, 49, died June 24 at a Waterville hospital. He was born in Knox June 4, 1926, son of Joseph H. and Clara (Wadsworth) Bryant. For many years he was engaged in farming in Knox. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lila Raven Bryant of Knox; five sons, William J. of Knox; Thomas E. of Newark, Del.; Raymond E. of U.S. Air Force in Bitburg, Germany; Dale and Russell, both of Knox; six daughters, Mrs. Gregory (Patricia) Reid of Thorndike, Mrs. Randal (Juanita) Reynolds of Unity, Mrs. Roger (Edith) Littlefield of Clinton, Miss Eloise, Gail and Angela, all of Knox; two brothers, Joseph H. Bryant of Knox, Leslie E. Bryant of Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Louise) Clodius of Newark, Del.; Mrs. Donald (Eleanor) McFarland of Sedgwick; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Knox Ridge Church with Rev. John Ducharme officiating. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery, Knox. Visiting hours at the Rackliffe Funeral Home, Belfast, Thursday 4 to 8 p.m.
