MASARDIS -- Elmer W. Clark, 84, died April 20, 1988, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born at Masardis, July 24, 1903, the son of Edwin C. and Helen M. (Fraser) Clark. He was a graduate of Ricker Classical Institute in Houlton and attended the University of Maine at Orono. Mr. Clark is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Maxwell (Alice) Drew of Masardis; two granddaughters, Mrs. Laurel (Cheryl) Junkins of Derry, N.H. and Mrs. Dwight (Candace) Junkins of Masardis; four great-grandchildren, Glenn and Lindsay Junkins, both of Derry, N.H. and Courtney and Chad Junkins, both of Masardis; one nephew, Frederick Clark of Masardis, with whom he resided for many years. Relatives and friends may call at the Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 37 Exchange St., Ashland, 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. until the time of services on Saturday. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donald Morton officiating. Committal services and interment will be in the Masardis Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those who wish may contribute in his memory to the Maine Diabetes Association, Maine Affiliate Inc., P.O. Box 2208, Augusta 04330. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
