TAUNTON \endash Nicholas J. Mota, son of Nelson P. Mota, Lt. TFD, and Robin L. (Hustus) Mota of Taunton, died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident early Saturday morning, Nov. 23, 2013.
He was 21.
Born in Taunton, he was a 2010 graduate of Bristol - Plymouth Regional Technical High School.
A member of the school's wrestling team, Nicholas was a star competitor in his weight class.
He was currently employed by Bay State Sewage Disposal of Lakeville.
In his spare time, he enjoyed weight lifting, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Adam J. Mota of Taunton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was also the grandson of the late Julio and Maria (Couto) Mota and the late Elwin and Constance (Lincoln) Hustus.
His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, Nov. 30th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of the Lord Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday Nov. 29th from 4 to 8 p.m.
