UNITY -- June Elaine Curtis, 65, recently of Billerica, Mass., died unexpectedly Sunday, June 4, 2000, at a Belfast hospital.
She was born Aug. 16, 1934, in Belfast, daughter of Nathan and Mattie Mae (Moody) Miller. Her husband, Cecil Curtis, died several years ago.
She was a bus driver for a special needs organization for a number of years in the Billerica area and more recently was employed in a nursing home. She moved to Unity in May to be with her family. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include three sons, William Raven, and wife, Juanita Raven of Unity, John Curtis, of Frankfort, and Keith Curtis, and wife, Jackie, of Massachusetts; a daughter, Sally Olive of Revere, Mass; three sisters, Evelyn Brown of Hampden, Dorothy Seekins, and husband, Horace, of Stockton Springs, and Katherine Muise, and husband, Bob, of Saugus, Mass.; and 11 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Roger Miller.
There will be no services in Maine. Her cremated remains will be placed with her husband's remains at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass. Arrangements are by Lawry Brothers Funeral Home of Unity.
