ORONO -- George Eugene McCorrison, 90, husband of Georgia A. (Boulter) McCorrison, died July 23, 1999, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Passadumkeag, March 17, 1909, the son of William E. and Clara A. (Howard) McCorrison Jr.
He was employed with the University of Maine for 20 years, retiring in 1973. Mr. McCorrison was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mechanics Lodge No. 66 and the Good Samaritan Lodge of Odd Fellows, all of Orono. He was a ticket taker for 37 years at all athletic events at UMO.
Mr. McCorrison was predeceased by a daughter, Clara Sewell on Oct. 24, 1994. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Orono, are two daughters, Cynthia Brown of Fabius, N.Y., Janice Mary Jane Allen of Greenville, S.C.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nephews.
Private services and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Gifts in his memory may be sent to St. Joseph's Healthcare, 900 Broadway, Bangor 04402. A service of Brookings-Smith, LaBeau Chapel, 72 Main St., Orono.

George married Georgia Alberta Boulter, daughter of George Rufus Boulter and Ida Vivena Raven, on 18 Dec 1938 in Maine, United States. (Georgia Alberta Boulter was born on 16 May 1913 in Knox, Waldo, Maine, United States, died on 9 May 2004 in Orono, Penobscot, Maine, United States and was buried on 12 May 2004 in Riverside Cemetery, Orono, Penobscot, Maine, United States.)
