CARIBOU -- Mina J. Greenleaf Dow, 88, died Sept. 27, 1983, at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born in Caribou, April 13, 1895, the daughter of John and Mary (Brown) Cockran. She had been a resident of Caribou all of her life and had made her home with her son, Herman, for the last 20 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Caribou. She is survived by one son, Herman Greenleaf, of Caribou; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Beckwith of Caribou; two grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Harold Beesley officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mina married Fred Benjamin Greenleaf, son of Clarence Lester Greenleaf and Huldah M. Raven, on 1 Jun 1913 in Caribou, Aroostook, Maine, United States.
