CARIBOU -- Herman R. Greenleaf, 74, beloved husband of Lois "Pauline" (Tingley) Greenleaf, died Oct. 9, 1992, at his Caribou residence after a brief illness. He was born in Woodland, Nov. 18, 1917, the son of Fred and Mina J. (Cochran) Greenleaf. A Caribou resident for many years, he was an employee of the A & P Processing Plant in Fort Fairfield. He attended the Caribou Assembly of God Church. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he was a life member of the Lister-Knowlton Post VFW No. 9389 of Caribou. He is survived by his wife of Caribou; one son, Kenneth Wainwright of Hollywood, Fla.; one sister, Eva Beckwith of Caribou: three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronald Sullivan officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Caribou.
