CARIBOU, Oct. 28 -- Mrs. Silvia Ethel Carson, 74, died at a Caribou convalescent home Saturday after a brief illness.
She was born in Caribou, October 27, 1882, the daughter of Elmer and Ida (Annis) Burgess.
Surviving are a son, Ray Carson of El Paso, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Bolstridge of Dover-Foxcroft and Miss Vida Carson of Skowhegan; a sister, Mrs. Frank Allen of Ashland; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Lancaster funeral home, 5 Pleasant street, Caribou, Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. John Thompson, pastor of the Caribou Pentecostal church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Ashland cemetery.

Sylvia married Charles Albert Carson, son of George Albert Carson and Selena Irene Raven, on 27 Sep 1902 in Caribou, Aroostook, Maine, United States.
