HARTLAND -- Jason Eugene Hewins, 25, died in a home fire, Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003. Jason was born June 6, 1978, in Waterville.
He was currently employed by Sullivan's Waste Disposal in Troy, and was previously employed by K-Mart in Waterville. Jason enjoyed hunting, cooking and outdoor activities. He was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Jase is survived by his mother, Waneta (Raven) and step-father, Steven Drew of Albion; his father, Walter Hewins and step-mother, Melinda of Madison; his paternal grandmother, Celia Hewins of Hartland; three sisters and four brothers, Amanda (Hewins) Domini of Waterville, Jennifer (Greeley) and husband, David Trott, of Richmond, Va., Virginia (Hewins) and husband, Howard Larrabee, of Pittsfield, Daniel and wife, Kelly Hewins, David and wife, Barbara Hewins, Dwayne Hewins, all of Corinna, and Dennis Howins of Hartland. Uncle Jase is survived by six nieces and six nephews, Orianna Domini, and unborn Gavin Jason Lee Cummins of Waterville, Justin Trott of Richmond, Va., Cassandra and Christi Larrabee of Pittsfield, Eden, Zachary, and Mackenzie Hewins of Corinna, and Joshua, Justin, Jeremy, and Rebekah Hewins of Troy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Clinton Grange Hall, Church Street, Clinton. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
