SANGERVILLE -- Pearline Francis Rowe, 65, passed away Jan. 17, 2009, after a brief battle with cancer. Pearline was born Feb. 12, 1944, in Limestone, to Hollis "Jack" and Gladys (Carson) Bolstridge.
Pearline loved family gatherings, babysitting, crocheting, knitting, raising sheep, Native American culture and caring for others.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, William "Bill" Rowe; her loving children, Gerald Merrill and his life partner, Dawn Pratt, of Abbott, Gerald's children, Beth and her fiance, Tim, Erin, and Trey and his fiance, Jillian, Dawn's children, Michaela and Cameron, Pam Irish and her husband, Tony, of Charleston and their children, Karry, Katie and husband, Sean, Kiley, Jessie and husband, Craig, Mike and Ben, and Brian Merrill and his life partner, Diane Kulas, of Parkman, Brian's children, Betsy and her fiance, Brandon, and Ryan, Diane's child, Samantha, Richard Ward and his wife, Jill, of Monson, Jill's children, Jayson, Adam and his wife, Samantha, Andy and his wife, Amanda, Laura Gourley and her husband, Tommy, of Abbott and their children, Keisha and Brody; special nieces, Ressie McLeish of Newport and Wanda Smith of Pittsfield and their families; many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by an infant son, Scott; father, Hollis; mother, Gladys; brother, Hollis Jr.; and sisters, Nellie, Louise and Joyce.
A celebration of Pearline's life will be held 4-8 p.m. Friday , Jan. 22, at Guilford Masonic Hall.

Pearline married Gerald Everett "Jerry" Merrill Sr. on 22 Feb 1960 in Dover-Foxcroft, ME. (Gerald Everett "Jerry" Merrill Sr. was born on 7 Sep 1943 in Dover-Foxcroft, ME and died on 12 Jul 2023 in Groton, MA.)

Dover-Foxcroft Couple Wed At Pastor's Home
DOVER-FOXCROFT, Feb. 25 -- Miss Pearline F. Bolstridge youngest daughter of [sic - looks like they missed a line of text!] Mr. and Mrs. Omar Merrill, were married Monday evening at 8 o'clock at the residence of the officiating clergyman, the Rev. John W. Meisner. They were attended by Miss Downs and Clarence Cook.
The bride wore a blue suit with black accessories and corsage of carnations. Both are students at Dover-Foxcroft Academy. The bridegroom is employed at Day's Poultry farm. They will have an apartment at the home of the brides parents.
Following the ceremony a family party was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
