bullet  Research Notes:

The contradiction between Warren's birth and his mother, Eliza's, death is troubling. By all accounts, he was born in September 1875, if not September 1876. Eliza is believed to have died in August 1875. Warren's obituary in the 30 November 1845 Bangor Daily News does state that Eliza R. Willard was his mother. I have not been able to find a death record for Eliza, nor a birth record for Warren.
