OXBOW -- Maud Mae Willard, 90, widow of Lyman L. Willard, died at her daughter's residence July 11 following a long illness. She was born Jan 8. 1884 in Oxbow, the daughter of Julius and Annie (Anderson) Junkins. Mrs. Willard had been a resident in Oxbow her entire life. She was a member of the Oxbow Congregational Church and active in community projects and a member of the Oxbow Grange. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rudolph (Joyce) Michalka of Oxbow; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Mona) Greenlaw of Presque Isle; one brother, Archie Junkins of Oxbow; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the residence of her daugther in Oxbow Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the United Church of Christ in Oxbow Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Osborne officiating. Burial will be in the Willard Family Cemetery in Oxbow. Maud married Lyman Lester Willard, son of Charles Albion Willard and Amanda J. Raven, on 19 Jan 1906 in Ashland, ME. (Lyman Lester Willard was born on 10 Nov 1878 in Mapleton, ME,10 11 12 13 14 died on 5 Mar 1963 in Presque Isle, ME 15 and was buried in Willard Cemetery, Oxbow, ME.)
