OXBOW -- Maud Mae Willard, 90, widow of Lyman L. Willard, died at her daughter's residence July 11 following a long illness. She was born Jan 8. 1884 in Oxbow, the daughter of Julius and Annie (Anderson) Junkins. Mrs. Willard had been a resident in Oxbow her entire life. She was a member of the Oxbow Congregational Church and active in community projects and a member of the Oxbow Grange. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rudolph (Joyce) Michalka of Oxbow; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Mona) Greenlaw of Presque Isle; one brother, Archie Junkins of Oxbow; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the residence of her daugther in Oxbow Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the United Church of Christ in Oxbow Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Osborne officiating. Burial will be in the Willard Family Cemetery in Oxbow.
