 MASARDIS, Jan 16 -- Funeral services for Miss Christine Willard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Willard, were held at the residence in Ox Bow, Monday afternoon. The death of Miss Willard, which occurred Friday in the sanitorium at Presque Isle, is deeply deplored by many friends.

 OX BOW, Jan. 21 -- many friends attended the funeral services for Miss Christine A. Willard at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman L. Willard. Rev. Robert Haldane of the Aroostook Larger Parish, Ashland, officiated. The bearers were Norman Currier, Keith Junkins, Hadley Currier and Laurel Junkins.
 Flowers were sent in beautiful profusion. Interment was in the family lot. Miss Willard attended Ashland high school, Ricker Classical Institute, graduating in 1927, and was taking a course in the Maine School of Commerce when her health failed. She was a patient in the Northern Maine Sanatorium.
 She was popular with very many friends and of fine personality and disposition. Her untimely death is deeply deplored. Besides her parents, she is survived by a younger sister, Joyce and other relatives.
 Attending the funeral from out of town were Randolph A. Junkins, uncle, and son, Keith, of Presque Isle; Mrs. A. Hockley, Mrs. H. McLean, Mr. and Mrs. B. Snowman, Mr. and Mrs. L. Page, Mrs. Beatrice Eagan, and Charles Clark, of Oakland.
