FORT FAIRFIELD -- Ernest L. Connors, 73, died June 8 at the Veterans Hospital in Togus. He was born in Fort Fairfield Jan. 30, 1901, son of William and Rhoda (Nichols) Connors. He was a veteran of World War I, a retired brick and mason contractor. He is survived by one granddaughter, Tina Connors; one grandson, Ernest Lee Connors III, both of Bridgewater; several cousins. Friends may call at the Dorsey Funeral Home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Dorsey Fueneral Home Chapel, the Rev. Bernard Brown of the Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Riverside Cemetery.
