EMERY BUZZELL
FREEDOM, Jan. 19 -- Emery Buzzell, 75, passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home.
He was born at Woodland, November 19, 1879, the son of Samuel and Laura Buzzell.
Mr. Buzzell is survived by his wife Ellura; two daughters, Mrs. Floreta Christl and Mrs. Albert Wells, Clinton; one son, Harvey of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Mullen of Skowhegan, Mrs. Minne Loud of Dexter; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Unity Lodge No. 58 AF and AM, Josiah H. Drummond Chapter OES of Thorndike, Waldo County Pomona Grange and active member of Dirigo Grange, Freedom.
Funeral arrangements will be announced.

FUNERAL SERVICES
FREEDOM, Jan. 20 -- Funeral services for Emery Buzzell will be held Monday at 2 o'clock at his late home.
The Rev. Shirley Morgan of Unity will officiate. There will be Masonic services.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Freedom.
The remains will be at his home, where friends may call.
Emery married Ethel May Raven, daughter of Reverend John Edward Raven and Evelyn L. "Evie" Farley, on 6 Mar 1902 in Caribou, ME.1 (Ethel May Raven was born on 5 Feb 1884 in Woodland, ME,6 7 died on 8 May 1912 in Jackson, ME 8 and was buried in Sayward Cemetery, Thorndike, ME 8.). The cause of her death was empyema.

A quiet wedding took place at the Methodist parsonage, Thursday evening of last week, when Mr. Emery Buzzell of Woodland and Miss Ethel Raven of Wade Plantation were united in marriage by Rev. N. R. Pearson.
