William Giggey has had a run of bad luck this fall. In the first place he had to go to the hospital. While he was away one pig got out and got killed by a car and another big one was taken sick and died. After his return his cow was taken sick and had to be killed. He then started to move his house about one-eighth of a mile and through bad luck it took three or four days. During this time his daughter got married. We don't know whether he reckons that bad or good luck.

William L. Giggie, 80, of 19 Durant St., died Wednesday at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
He was a self employed farmer in Fort Fairfield, Maine, prior to his retirement. For the past seven years he has made his home in Manchester with a son, Cedric Giggie.
He also leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hitchcock Giggie; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Salazar, Pasadena, Calif. and five grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial will be in Fort Fairfield at a time to be announced and local funeral arrangements are in the charge of the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St.

William married Elizabeth Catherine "Lizzie" Hitchcock on 30 Mar 1908 in Fort Fairfield, Aroostook, Maine, United States.
