Ravin, 48, died March 13, 1984, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Monroe, Jan. 29, 1936, the son of Irvin and Fremetta (Paul) Ravin. He had been a crane operator. He was a member of the Marsh River Lodge AF & AM of Brooks and Corinthian Royal Arch Chapter of Belfast. He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Littlefield) Ravin of Brooks; three sons, Paul of Ohio, Larry of Unity and Kyle of Brooks; two daughters, Janine Ravin of Brooks and Kristina[sic:read Kristin] Chase of Brooks; one brother, Sherman Ravin of Reseda, Calif.; two sisters, Shirley Kenney of Belfast and Hazel Humphrey of Brooks; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Brooks Congregational Church with the Rev. Charles Heslam officiating. The family prefers donations to the American Cancer Society, 52 Federal St., Brunswick, Maine 04011. Arrangements by Rackliffe Funeral Home, Belfast.
