BROOKS -- Mrs. Freemetta C. Ravin, 61, died Wednesday following an illness at a Belfast hospital.
 She was born here May 21, 1907, the daughter of Herman and Louisa (Ellis) Paul.
 She was the widow of Irving H. Ravin, and a member of the Brooks Congregational Church and a former 4-H Club leader in Monroe.
 Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Shirley) Kenney of Belfast and Mrs. Wallace (Hazel) Humphrey of Brooks; two sons Sherman of Reseda, Calif. and Lyman of Brooks; 12 grandchildren; several cousins.
 Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Brooks Congregational Church with Raymond Blaisdell officiating.
 Burial will be in Paul Cemetery, Waldo.
 Friends may call Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening at the Brazier Funeral Home, Brooks.

 Irvin Hearl Raven and Miss Fremetta Paul, both of Knox, were married Saturday evening at the M.E. parsonage by Rev. Oscar G. Barnard. The single ring service was used. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Paul and was a member of the graduating class of Belfast high school class of 1924. She was one of the prize winners for efficiency in the commercial department. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Raven of Knox and is a millman. The bride wore her charming white graduation gown and the couple was unattended.
