BELFAST -- Madeline "Maddy" E. (Wing) Carson, 84, passed away March 30, 2011 at Belfast.
She was born in Belfast on April 20, 1926, the daughter of Everett and Una (Buzzell) Wing.
For many years, Maddy cooked for restaurants in the Belfast area.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank A. Carson, Jr.
She is survived by son, Douglas Carson of Morrill; two daughters, Gloria Krei of Wisconsin and Gail Small of Morrill; two half-sisters Carolyn Clark of Bangor and Carline Pierce of Florida. She will be lovingly remembered by grandsons David Small Jr. and wife Julie, Anthony Small and wife Shoune, granddaughters Karen Brovan, and Kimberly Ottinger and husband Bob of Wisconsin; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Abigail, Amanda, Adrienne, Jenna Small and Jesse Trafton as well as great grandsons Collin, Ryan and granddaughter Kelsey of Wisconsin, great-great-granddaughter Emily Ottinger of Wisconsin, and 7 month old great great grandson Nicholas Anderson of Vermont.
Private graveside services will be held for the family at Morrill Village Cemetery.
