Douglas Edward Carson, 64, of Morrill, went to meet the Lord July 14, 2016. He was born in Morrill on Aug. 16, 1951, to Frank A. Carson Jr. and Madeline E.Carson.
Douglas is survived by his sisters, Gloria Krei of Wisconsin and Gail Small of Morrill.
He will be lovingly remembered by his nephews, David Small Jr. and wife Julie of Swanville and her son Jesse Trafton, Anthony Small and wife Shoune of Belfast. He will also be missed by his nieces, Kimberly Ottinger and husband Bob and Karen Brovan of Wisconsin. Also his great nieces and nephews: Ashley, Abigail, Amanda, Adrienne, Jenna Small, Travis and Lillian Anderson as well as Emily Ottinger, Ryan and Kelsey Brovan of Wisconsin.
Doug will be especially missed by his special friend of many years Ernestine Hooper, and her children Terrie, Tommy, Joey and wife Roberta, and David and wife Michelle.
Also, office staff, nurses, CNAs as well as the residents at Tall Pines Nursing Home will greatly miss Douglas as they became like family to him during his many years of residing there.
Private burial services will be held at a later date for the family at Morrill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Riposta Funeral Home, Belfast. Memories and condolences may be offered to the family at ripostafh.com.
