Mrs. Laney King, wife of Samuel [sic?] King, died at her home in Waldo on Tuesday night, at the age of 44 years. She was born in Canada, the daughter of Hugh and Elmira (King) McDermott, and had lived in this vicinity for about four months. She is survived by her husband and several children.

DIVORCE DECREED IN VACATION
James H. Cilley, clerk of the Supreme Judicial Court for Waldo county, has received from Judge Charles J. Dunn of Oronoa divorce case deferred from the April term on account of illness of the libellant. The case was Laney E. Carson vs. Frank A. Carson, Thorndike parties. The divorce was granted on account of extreme cruelty. The care and custody of their minor children, Ellen E., Selma A., Laney E., Edith M., Frank A., and Zelma B., were given to the mother and the father was to see them on suitable occasions. Buzzell and Thornton.
