BELFAST - Frank A. Carson, 54, died Oct. 3 at a Belfast hospital after a long illness. He was born at Oxbow, March 18, 1918, the son of Frank and Laney (McDermott) Carson, He had been employed for many years as a truck driver with the State Highway Commission. Survivors include his widow, Madeline (Wing) Carson of Belfast; one son, Douglas E. of Morrill; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Krei of Chippewa Falls, Wisc., Mrs. Gail Small of Belfast; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hutus of Taunton, Mass. Mrs. Selma Littlefield of Belfast and Mrs. Laney (Kitty) Kenney of Belfast; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Rackliffe Funeral Home, Belfast. Burial will be in Village Cemetery, Morrill.
