ROCHESTER ; Joyce M. Ellingwood, age 74, of Wellsweep Acres in Rochester, died Oct. 1, 2008, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.
Born July 8, 1934, in Caswell, Maine, daughter of the late Hollis I. and Gladys H. (Carson) Bolstridge, she resided in Rochester for 11 years, previously resided in Middleton for 21 years and having come from Fairfield, Maine.
A homemaker, she was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary of Rochester and the Milton Assembly of God.
Widower of the late Leland C. Ellingwood, who died in 2006, she is survived by two sons, Patrick and wife, Betty Decker, Elwood and wife, Elizabeth Decker; four stepsons, Claude Ellingwood, Maynard Ellingwood, Edwin Hapsgood and Everett Decker; six stepdaughters, Patricia Nye, Carol Emerson, Rebecca Prosper, Sarah Ellingwood, Hazel Tilton and Mary Page, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also a sister, Pearline Rowe.
She was predeceased by a stepson, Richard Decker; a brother, Hollis Bolstridge, and sisters, Louise Duff and Nellie Labbe.
There are no calling hours. Family and friends are welcome to a Memorial Service on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at Milton Assembly of God Church, Route 125, in Milton, N.H., with the Rev. Alfred Weeden, Jr., pastor, officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Milton Assembly of God or Seacoast Hospice. Arrangements are in the care of Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central St., Farmington, N.H.

DOVER-FOXCROFT, April 14 -- Miss Joyce Bolstridge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Bolstridge, became the bride of Murray Decker Friday evening at the home of the bride's parents. The John W. Meisner preformed the double-ring ceremony.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Merrill, brother-in-law and sister of the bride.
The bride wore a blue dress with white accessories and corsage of sweet peas.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home, with refreshments served by Mr. and Mrs. Merrill and Mrs. Robert Woodard, including a bride's cake made by the bride's mother. The guest book was circulated by Mary Jane Woodard, daughter of the bridegrooml The couple left for a trip to Aroostook county.
Among those present at the ceremony and reception were the bride's 97-year-old grandfather, Frank Bolstridge, and the bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Decker of Bangor.
