Patricia A. (Boynton) Paiva, 56, of 7 Hollywood Ave., Assonet, died Tuesday. She was the wife of Philip D. Paiva. Born in Belfast, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Howard A. Boynton and the late Zelma B. (Carson) Boynton Westgate. She was the stepdaughter of the late Daniel W. Westgate Sr. She had been a resident of Assonet for 14 years. She was a graduate of Taunton High School. She was employed as a certified nurse's aide at the Dighton Nursing Center, Dighton, for 17 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Joseph Silva, of Florida; two daughters, Sandra Machado of Assonet and Katerina Silveira of Taunton; a brother, Daniel W. Westgate Jr., of Berkley; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are with the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 S. Main St.
