ETTA M. ABBOTT
KNOX, BELFAST -- Etta M. Abbott, 89, died Feb. 14, 1978, at a Waterville hospital. She was born in Washburn, June 17, 1888, the daughter of William and Roseann (Farley) Raven.
She is survived by one son, Roland C. Abbott of Knox; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two half-sisters, Hazel Woodbury of Lincoln, Dorothy Moody of Belfast; one step-brother, William Raven of Thorndike; one step-sister, Lila Scott of Brewer; several nieces and nephews.
She was a long-time member of the Knox Pentecostal Church. Friends may call at Coombs Funeral Home, Belfast, Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb 16, at 2 p.m., Rev. Max Leavitt officiating.
