SWANVILLE \emdash Guy "Bobby" Porter Jr. passed away at home on May 1, 2022, after a long illness at the age of 65.
Bobby was born in Bangor on July 27, 1956, to Guy Sr. and Judy Porter. He attended Mount View High School in Thorndike and graduated in 1974.
Bobby enjoyed music, singing, playing guitar and was in a band. Bobby also enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and taking his dog Moses to McDonald's for a burger. He always had an amazing Christmas lights display at his home.
He loved his family and was always there for them.
Bobby was a very hard worker. He worked with his dad at Krisway. He also worked many years for Lloyd Wentworth in Belfast until his health declined and he was no longer to do so. Bobby also served in the Air Force.
Bobby was predeceased by his dad, Guy Porter Sr.
He is survived by his mother Judy Porter; his son, Robert (Bobby) Porter; his sisters, Nancy Bradeen, Betty Porter Cronin and Susan Porter; and his grandchildren, Kendra, Maddison, Hunter and Colton. He also leaves his beloved and faithful dog Moses.
Bobby leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends Mike Philbrick, Sherry Ward and Kathy Hutchinson.
