HOLDEN - Dean R. Freeland, 22, of 439 Main St. died yesterday in his home after an illness.
He leaves his father, Randall D. Freeland, with whom lived; his twin sister, Diana M. Freeland, also at home; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Freeland of Holden; his maternal grandfather, Frederick Whipple of Ox Bow, Maine; and several aunts and uncles. He was born in Holden, and lived here all his life. His mother, Bonita M. (Whipple) Freeland, died in 1968.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. John Spangler officiating. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., from 1 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to a charity of the donor's choice.
