Nancy L. Noyes, 67, a former school teacher in the Caribou area, died Feb. 17, 2001, at her home in Colorado Springs. She was born June 26, 1933, at Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Walter B. and Vera L. (Giggie) Sharp.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Gene L. Dowdell; one son, Stuart W. Noyes and his wife, Anne Marie of Frisco, Texas; one daughter, Jane E. Brown and her husband, Stan of Caribou; three grandchildren, Jeremy Brown, Joshua Brown and Madeline Noyes. She was predeceased by husbands, Stuart Winthrop Noyes and I. Mead Hayward.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shrine of Remembrance Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colo. Interment will be held in Maine at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Church of the Advent, Limestone.
