• Obituary: Bangor Daily News, 24 Dec 2009, Bangor, ME. OLD TOWN -- Addie Lou Bergeron, 69, died Dec. 23, 2009, at her residence after an 18-year long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 28, 1940, in Old Town, a daughter of Norman W. and Mabel (Carson) Ogden. She was a 1959 graduate of Old Town High School. On Feb. 6, 1960, she married Charles P. Bergeron and they spent the last 50 years together as best friends. Addie was employed for Old Town school system for more than 35 years. She loved her job as the "Lunch Lady" and had a special relationship with all the students and faculty. She was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Old Town. She was the number one fan of her grandchildren and always attended all their respective activities. She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie; a daughter, Susan J. Winchenbach and husband, James, of Milford; two sons, Gregory S. Bergeron and his wife, Lebra, of Bradley and C. Jeffrey Bergeron and his wife, Darlene, of Old Town; eight grandchildren, Charles Justin and Abigail Bergeron, Katie Bergeron, Brandon and Jared Winchenbach, Suzy, Nicole and Cathy Getan-Metcalf; a brother, Norman E. Ogden and his wife, Constance, of Clifton; sister, Janet Thurston and her husband, Roy, of Stillwater; mother-in-law, Pearl R. Bergeron; sister-in-law, Ann St. Louis; brother-in-law, George Bergeron and his wife, Vicki; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Rebecca L. Ogden; and father-in-law, Joseph D. Bergeron. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resurrection Parish, Holy Family Catholic Church, 429 Main St., Old Town. Immediately after the Mass all are invited to the parish hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship.
