STILLWATER -- Mabel Addie Ogden, 81, died March 9, 1994, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Thorndike, July 19, 1912, the daughter of George and Addie
(Gordon) Carson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Norman W. Ogden; and her four children, Norman E. and his wife, Connie Ogden, Janet and her husband, Roy
Thurston, Addie Lou and her husband, Charlie Bergeron and Rebecca "Becky" Ogden, all of Stillwater. She was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren; also surviving are two brothers, Ansel Carson of Ellsworth, Kenneth Carson of Thorndike; two sisters, Doris Curtis of Unity, Florence Bragdon of Searsport; one stepsister, Alice Nadeau of Old Town; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Leroy Carson. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Kiley-Birmingham Funeral Home, 287 S. Main St., Old Town, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday. Spring interment will be in Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
