ASHLAND -- CARSON, Harry, 84, died Jan. 19 in a Presque Isle hospital following a long illness. He was born in Mapleton, March 27, 1888, the son of George and Celina (Raven) Carson. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion Post at Ashland for 51 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Carson of Ashland: one son, Henry Carson of Ashland; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie (Whipple) of Oxbow, Mrs. Ruby Fields of Freeport and Mrs. Bernice Gordon of Belfast; one brother, John Merry of Rockland and five grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call at the Nadeau Funeral Home, Ashland, Monday from noon till time of services. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Nadeau Funeral Home, Ashland. Burial will be this spring in the Ashland Municipal Cemetery.
