DANA DREW
MASARDIS, June 2 -- Memorial services were held at the Congregational church Sunday afternoon at Oxbow for Dana Drew, son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Drew, the Rev. William Barndt officiating.
Mr. Drew was born June 12, 1921. He was a graduate of Ricker Classical institute and also attended Ricker Junior college. He was employed from 1941 to 1943 at the Portsmouth Navy yard as an electric welder. At the time of his death, May 17, 1944, he was employed in the Navy Yard at Pearl Harbor where he had been since April, 1943. He was also taking a course at the University of Hawaii.

Dana married Phyllis Tilley on 14 Jun 1939 in Hartfield, Southampton, York, New Brunswick, Canada. (Phyllis Tilley was born on 5 Jan 1923 in Houlton, Aroostook, Maine, United States, died on 8 Feb 1993 in Presque Isle, Aroostook, Maine, United States and was buried in Masardis Cemetery, Masardis, Aroostook, Maine, United States.)
