MASARDIS -- Mrs. Lila M. Drew, 78, widow of George Drew, died March 18, 1977 at her residence. She was born in Oxbow, July 4, 1898, the daughter of Frank and Eva Willard Howes. She was a member of the Masardis Congregational Church, the Retired Teachers Association and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by one son, Maxwell, Masardis; one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Marjorie) Fenderson, Charleston, N.H.; two sisters, Pearl Howes, Oxbow, Clarice Gulnac, Bangor; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald Osborn officiating. Spring burial will be in the Masardis Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute in her memory to the Coronary Care Unit at the Arthur R. Gould Memorial Hospital, Presque Isle.
