BREWER -- Lila R. Scott, 86, wife of the late Byron B. Scott Sr., died Oct. 10, 1987, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Wade, April 17, 1901, the daughter of John E. and Evelyn (Farley) Raven.
She spent her early years in Thorndike and attended Thorndike schools. She had been a resident of Brewer for the past 56 years.
She is survived by one son, Byron B. Scott Jr. of Brewer; three daughters, Eleanor S. Gulisano of Marco Island, FL, Rosalie Ann Cole of Brewer, and Nelda S. Conti of Fredonia, NY; one sister, Dorothy Moody of Belfast; 10 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Philip E. Piper Funeral Home, Brewer, with the Rev. Howard E. Benson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
